It’s been almost a month since Yoga 216 and Lululemon initiated the Spring Cleaning Challenge and we’re more than a little curious to know how things are going. First let’s recap…
Back in April we invited you to set three intentions, the goal being to let go of behaviors that no longer serve you and establish new, positive habits in time for spring – the season of renewal. Those three intentions related to the following:
1. The internal self (your diet)
2. The physical self (your yoga practice)
3. The external self (your environment and space)
After yoga, meditation and talks from health coach Amy and organizational guru Elizabeth, we wrote down our intentions on a slip of silver paper with the resolve to revisit them in three months time at a curated evening of celebration.
Maybe you got home and stuck that note on your fridge or by your bed as a daily reminder of the life-affirming challenge you committed to. Or maaaaybe you put it in your handbag, where it remained forgotten and growing steadily more dogeared for a week or two, until you rediscovered it during a post-gym search for a hair tie.
We created this post as a mutually supportive and motivational space for you to connect with your fellow Spring Cleaners. Share your experiences. Have you made it to the mat three times per week and have incorporated a morning green smoothie into your diet? Perhaps you’ve found it tougher than you thought to stay focused and need some encouragement. Tell us!
